somename.newVer.iam problems?

Inventor is not allowing me to save an assembly file everytime I try to save it gives me an error about not able to save "somename.newVer.iam". The problem is that I'm working in shared mode and I have no way of getting the newversion file renamed to it's proper name. Has anyone ran across this? Any advice on this?

"STG_E_FILENOTFOUND($80030002)"
I have had this with people working on Novell networks mainly but the solution is to copy the data locally and work on it then save it on to the server at the end of the day. I think the term is working in a SEMI ISOLATED ENVIRONMENT

I found out what it was. One of my co-workers was camping on the file at the update dialog right where you first open the file. For some reason this was causing problems.

It will show up when your network is not maintaining a constant
connection with your machine and you try to save a file.
