Solid Hatching

Does anyone know whether there is a solid hatch pattern in Inventor,there are lots of patterns but so far i cannot see a solid hatch similar to Autocad

When you create a sketch in your drawing, in the sketch toolbar you will find this.

This will give you a solid fill pattern.

Thank fully Inventor recognize the AutoCad pat file format.

 

Copy the two attached Acad.pat & Acadiso.pat to a convenient location.

 

RMB on the hatch patter in the part your wanting to change select EDIT HATCH STYLE

 

In the next box that pops up click on the arrow top left and scroll down to OTHER this then opens scroll down list on the right hand side select  LOAD a browser window will open navigate to where the files are save on your HD select either acad.pat or acdiso.pat the AutoCAD hatch pattern will now  be available, Acads SOLID hatch is in the list.
