I am working on an IDW that takes about 5 minutes to update when I switch
between the models and the IDW. The culprit is a coil of rope on a grooved
winch drum. Both I used the spiral command. I wished now that I used the
macaroni method and faked it.
Problem is, I have made and issued a drawing of the grooved drum which
references the coil, so I am a bit leery of making any changes to the main
GA which has the coiled rope.
I tried disabling and turning of the visibility of the two spiral parts (the
groove cut is an IPT as well as the rope) but this does nothing for the
update speed of the drawing.
Any suggestions would be great.
