Slope Pattern Style Issue

Please see the attached image. Instead of me having to create these separately is there any textures available to get this appearance onto a solid square shape?

Regards,

James

You'll have to make a custom appearance (color) style in order to do this, but yes it is possible.

I'm on 2015, but i think the process is the same in 2013 so i'm going to link you the help page on how to do this:
http://help.autodesk.com/view/INVNTOR/2015/ENU/?guid=GUID-BF0A3854-2506-468B-97F7-5A7D5F7905E4

Hope you can figure it out from there.
(you might have to do some internet research on how to create a seamless pattern.)

Thanks

I had a go and got a pattern on the sheet but how do i make it realistic?

How do i make it look 1 piece instead of 4 pieces?

Can the pattern be sized to make it look realistic?

Thanks

James

Can you also post your pattern1.jpg, the texture is linked to it but it isn't automatically included with the .ipt.

As to your sizing question, when you're editing the color you can click on the texture you added and you should get a "texture editor" window.
In that window there are settings for scale that you can play with.
If it distorts the image too much, try making the image a larger pixel size.

It might be possible to get a seamless pattern from that image, but there's a lot of color variance / shadow.

There is a standard supplied texture called "Fabric2.bmp", maybe that could be a good substitute?

I'll just add the image in case you can't find it.

If it isn't what you want, then search the internet on how to make a seamless pattern and see if you can get one from your image.

Hope you can figure it out.

I gave your texture a shot, it's not perfect but it's reasonably seamless.

(the actual weave pattern is a bit messed up, but you need to look close to spot it.)

Just play with the scale like i mentioned and you should be fine.
