Slice Graphics question

Is there a way to use the slice graphics command on an IPT file without
having to create a sketch?

Thanks,

Ben V.

Use the Split tool. You'll have to create a workplane to define where you want to split the part.

Or if you just want to temporarily split a part for viewing you can bring the part into an assy and use the section view tool.

It would be quicker if you could slice it while in
the part mode. The other ways take more time.

I think it needs to be added to the "wish
list".

I agree.  I usually end up adding a sketch and
slicing graphics.  It would be nice to have a 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 section tool in
part mode.
