Sketched Symbols scalable - follow view scale.

Now a sketch symbol is scalable (think dowel hole symbol) in IV6, and
various "attachment points" light up in an IDW view for accurate placement
and will follow a view.

But: Can they be placed "inside" the view, such that they will follow the
scale of the view? For example if I should determine that all the views at a
later date should be half scale instead of full scale, how do I get the
dowel hole symbols to scale down with the view?

I am aware of starting a sketch "within" the view and projecting the holes'
geometry, then drawing verticals, horizontals and finally hatch filling the
1st and 3rd quadrants. This approach is very slow and one-by-one, i.e.if a
platen has 20 dowel holes.

Many Thanks,
Jack
