Sketch visible on opposite side of extrusion (bug)

Was curious if anyone else can replicate this bug.

Make a rectangle and extrude it 0.001" thick. Place a sketch on one of the
faces. Now flip it over. Do you see the sketch?

Now extrude it 0.01" thick. Can you make out the faint outline of the
sketch on the back side? (May have to orbit it around to find the right
angle)

Now extrude it 0.1" thick. Sketch disappears on the back side (as it should
be)

I think this is related to the "parts showing through a think skin" problem
that I and John Bilton (and I'm sure others) have been experiencing but with
the 0.001" extrusion it's not a faint showing thru of the sketch. It's just
full on there.

You'll also see the same effect if you build a box section frame and then
build another part which is a thin sheetmetal skin around it.

When you zoom out you can see the outlines of the box section through the
sheetmetal skin.

It's bugged me for a long time.

Yep, that what I meant by

"I think this is related to the "parts showing through a think skin" problem
that I and John Bilton (and I'm sure others) have been experiencing "

I suspect that this may be a known issue, however, my search revealed no
identical hits in our database.

This is now logged as CR ID 519792
