Sketch Symbol Attributes Similar to AutoCAD?

Is there a way to create a sketch symbol attribute similar to AutoCAD so that when nested in a block, you can insert the block multiple times with different text in each block, or in my case, in each symbol? I am trying to create a centre line symbol that shows the CL symbol and then a text attribute next to it that allows me to lable the line.

Propted entry is not necessary. I know in solid edge, you can greate blocks that act very similar to AutoCAD blocks, in that when you double click them, you can edit the text and it applies locally to the given block, not dynamicly to every similar block in the drawing. I was hoping Inventor had a similar solution for this... Edited by: Johnny01 on Jun 18, 2009 4:19 PM

Unless I'm missing something, Brian's right, you
better take another look at prompted entry sketch symbols.

You can have any number of the same symbol, with
different text in each.

I'm sorry, I didn't know what prompted entry was... That was a much better discription. Thanks.
