sketch selection problems

sometimes i import complex sketches from acad.
sometimes i need to rotate or move them. so i choose the rotate button, then
make a window around the whole scketch. most of the time, it leaves out
certain lines. its random. it just dosent pick everything.
anyone ever notice this before?

I saw this in 5.3, haven't done anything similar in IV6. I think refreshing
my system seemed to help. Try a complete shut down and reboot.
