HI!
In previous releases we could select line's middle points (for instance to apply horizontal or vertical constraints between middle points like in the figure below).
In Inventor 2015, we can't do it. I do not know if this happened after installing the latest service pack or if this version came with this defect from the begining.
Someone has also this behavior?
It happens also with the "connect constrain": when i try to connect two elements by both middle points, i'm unable to select any center point,
BUT... If i select first a "selectable point", then i'm able to select the middle point!!!
Note:I know several workarounds to accomplish this, add points in middle point (That i can do!!!), use center point rectangles, etc etc, but it's a lot easier if we can select directly the middle point at first.
I hope this is a bug, and be fixed.
Image below: Trying to place horizontal constrain, but no highlight in middle points.
Thanks.

If you want to connect to midpoints - I would start the Coincident constraint - then you can click the midpoints.
If you want two midpoints horizontal - then I would create a construction line midpoint to midpoint and make it Horizontal.
Hi!
Thank's for the reply...
I dont need any construction line if a can say: "this middle point is horizontal with this middle point". In Previous versions it works like that...
I 'm aware of the workarounds... i don't need any workaroud,
I need to know if in your INVENTOR 2015, you have the same behavior as me.
the question is...: ITS A BUG, OR IT WILL BE ALWAYS LIKE THIS?
Thanks.
Hi! You might have R2015 SP1 Beta installed. It was a known problem on earlier SP1 builds. It has been resolved before SP1 is released officially. Please uninstall SP1 Beta and install the official SP1.
Many thanks!
Hi!
Yes... was the BETA Service Pack.
Solved, Thanks!!
Just a question; How can we unnistall the Beta SP1
