Sketch in a view in an .idw file...

I attached a sketch to a view, fully constrained the lines in the sketch to the PG from the lines in the standard view.

Everything looks good but when I click "Finish Sketch" and it leaves the sketch environment the lines from the sketch shift slightly out of alignment.

The dimensions I have to these lines are in the right locations so it looks like they aren't going to the sketch lines.  But if I try to "connect" the dimensions to where the lines are actually being show it gives me errors saying there is nothing there to connect to.

??????????

Not sure exactly what this means.

Attach file here that exhibits the behavior you are seeing.

Can you reproduce this behavior in other files, or does it occur in just this one file?

Picture #1 is in sketch mode where the lines line up with the projected geometry properly.

Picture #2 is after exiting sketch mode and the lines move out of alignment.

uhmm, idw or dwg.

You haven't even stated what version of Inventor you are using.

I'd have attached the referenced model(s) also, correct?  If so, it isn't going to happen because A) I can't do that and B) they are rather large assembly files.

Can you reproduce this issue in an idw of an assembly that has two instances of a simple cube?

Can you delete all but one or two parts in your original assembly example and reproduce the issue?

(or is the issue a function of it being a large assembly?)

I tried to delete the center reference line and redraw it in place.  Issue still persisted.

The only way I was able to make it stop was to completely delete th sketch itself and create a new sketch.  Now it stopped doing it.

I have not been able to repeat this issue since the and I did try.
