Thanks for the responses to my earlier post. I am not trying to use my
Autocad experience, while trying to learn Inventor. What I am trying to do,
is outlined in the tutorial "Sketch Tips for New Autodesk Inventor Users"
by: Neil Munro. The information is located on page 1 of the tutorial and is
listed under Project Geometry in the help files. Because the procedure is in
place, I tried to use it to move the Origin Center Point. I know that was
stated, that I should stop trying to now move the OCP, but if the procedure
is there, why not use it? The problem is, that the procedure does produce
correct results, following the procedure outlined in the help files.I was
able to move the OCP, but after creating a hole a the new OCP (which was
constrained with dimensions) and saving the file, the OCP moved to an end
point on he bottom line of the panel outline. The same results (OCP
relocating) accrued using the Share Sketch procedure to place the holes.
