So all of a sudden my sketch behavior has changed and I can't firgure out why. So here is what's happening:
1) Sketch lines are not being constrained to each other.
2) The center of a straight line no longer marked with a green dot (when I hover near it).
3) Extruding is a problem. Open loops are found in simple sketches.
4) Sketches are being created as adaptive.
I went into application options and setting and tried to see if anything had changed but I couldn't see anything different. The only thing that I had done different in the last day or two was copy an AutoCAD sketch and paste it into a new .ipt file. Other than that, nothing else is different. This is very confusing. Does anyone know why this is happening? I must have zigged when I should have zagged? Help!
Thanks.

Let me guess (since you left out this critical information), you are using 2010 and clicked Constraint Persistence (thinking it was Perpendicular constraint) and turned off constraint persistence.
Never mind, I see you are using 2013 http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Autodesk-Inventor/Inventor-2013-crashes-during-break-out-view-creation... or are you?
I think that was it. I don't remember un-checking them. Wierd. Thanks.
Oops. Yes, 2013. I think jletcher answered it. Thanks!
