Skeletal Master Sk Lost links Migrated.

I have an assembly which was migrated from 5.3 and I probably haven't opened
it since 5.3, well I opened it maybe but did not modify, as it was my first
attempt at the said method. After the October WC.
I noticed that two part would not update, I know it worked before, is this
more than likely that it was through migration or is this something I will
come across again with a virgin assembly in 6.0?
I can rebuild the part but only by deleting it and starting again, some of
the sketches update within parts but sk2 does not in two parts only, other
parts with sk2 update ok. I would not have broken the link on purpose and
the option still exists in part. Ta.

Kent will surely chime in on this one. He had a world of problems with R6
trashing his skeletons. I don't know how he solved it however..

Surely IV6 would not do such a thing as this! (dripping with sarcasm)

Ding....Dong..... no I wasn't talking about me, just Chiming in 8^)

The only reason my problems are solved is because I finally finished that project in R5.3.
I was finally able to get a dataset to the QA team that they were able to reproduce the
problem with. I haven't heard back anything recently but I know it has made a few rounds
with the developers (as they try to figure out who to pass it off onto ) and I have
my fingers crossed that they will get it fixed by the next Release or Rev.

Your problem doesn't sound the same to me though. How big is the assembly? Can you zip
it up and post it? Do you have a un-migrated assembly? If you have a version that works
still in R5.3 but fails when migrated to R6 I am sure there is people that would be
interested in seeing it.

Kent appears that my 5.3 file was corrupt, but I was sure it was OK and
functioning. It was only the Oct WC any way so I am trying to fix in 6.0 for
my own curiosity.
