simulation of a T-shirt Autodesk Inventor

Hi,

I work on a project which aim is to create tents for Africa but I am confronted to a problem. I would like to modelise and simulate a hessian with the behavior of a cloth on Autodesk inventor but I don't know if it is possible. 

The simulations include gravity and wind load.

Please, could you help me?

Hi Pascal,

congratulations for your effort in a humanitarian project!

Depends on what kind of simulation you'd like.

You can't simulate cloth behavior under wind. You can do static analysis for elastic deformation on isotropic materials.

If would like to simulate for more simple analysis , interferences, movements, presentation, etc, more than something is possible.

And what about the simulation modulus such as simulation mechanical or simulation multiphysics as an example? Do you think they would be able to help me ?
At least, if they are not able to help me to create a hessian with the behavior of a fabric, is it possible to work with carbon fiber or other composite fiber?

I'm sorry Pascal, i am quite sure that they don't do that.

You can do fluid dynamic study in CFD SImulation, but only limited to fluid (wind) and solid (tent), with not fabric under wind behavior
