I was just wondering if there is any solution to this. I have a shrinkwrapped file. Now the link is broken from the actual assembly and the orginal assembly is now gone. Now in this shrinkwrapped file, there is a portion that I want to isolate. Is there any way to delete / remove the other parts that i dont need? Extruding, sculpting and delete faces dont work. So far the only thing I can do is add extrusions to the part but not remove.
If the model is still seperate solid / surface bodies (which is an option that would have to have been set when creating the shrinkwrap), you may be able to control their visibility to get what you want.
Look near the top of the browser - see if there are folders for Solid Bodies or Surface Bodies. If there are, right click on those bodies and turn them off or on as desired.
