I am modeling multple bodies in a single .ipt file. If the bodies are touching (or connected) Inventor displays them as a single lump and I understand why. However, I would like to show the seams between the two bodies is there a way to do that?

Thank you Mark, shaded edges is on however. I show a cylinder (silo tank) with multiple "cans" stacked on top of one another. I would like to see each "can" segment instead of one very tall cylinder.
Currently the shaded edges only shows the entire cylinder in the attached screen shot you see that I created 2 seperate revolved cylinders (one on top of another) however I do not see the seam between them. I believe I could space them out by fractions of an inch to get the desired effect however I was wondering if there is a setting that would provide the same result.
Thank you very much for your advice.
Maybe its the resolution of that image, but it looks like there is only one solid body there. You need to create those revolves as seperate Solids with the New Solid button.

After coincendentally running across this WIKI (http://wikihelp.autodesk.com/Inventor/enu/2012/Help/0073-Autodesk73/0308-Parts308/0347-Part_mod347/0...) I think you're right but I can't find the new solid button. Could you point out it's location in INV2012?
It is right below the Intersect option for your Revolve.
