Shelling crash

Hi Guys,

Trying to shell this lofted shape however it freezes and crashes after a while.

for some reason i think its loft 5 which is messing things up.

Trying the shell it from point A, (6mm thickness)

Any ideas?

Nice shape, but no easy task for shelling.

See my result. EOP needs to be moved down.

Here's another, more straightforward, solution.

Interesting to see, that it's more than double filesize with EOP down than the first one.

And funny results can be seen, if Delete face with heal is used alternatively for the model state after Split1

Hi! Here is another approach using full round fillet instead of lofts. The part can be shelled fine. It does seem like the original Loft5 and Loft6 are making things unnecessarily more complicated. The behavior is not right though. I will forward it to development for further review.

Many thanks!
