sheetmetal creation using loft and shell

I am trying to unfold a part which I think would be easier to create by
making a solid which will be created by lofting two profiles then creating a
shell to get a sheetmetal like part and I then want to unfold it. Can I do
this? If not how would you create a sheet metal part of a square to round
transition where the square face and round face lie on different planes.
Any help would be appreciated

Thanks
shane

Go to Drew's site and there is a solution there, I am told.

Look at the post below yours Sean's FAQ and find links to lots of sites with
oodles of examples and help.
