Sheet Metal unfolding

I want to be able to have a sheetmetal cylinder create a flat pattern and have it the same length as the calculated length. What is the best way to accomplish this.

The cylinder outside diameter can be anywhere from 10 to 30 inches And will be rolled to 359 degrees.

The cylinder thickness can be from 18GA to .1875.

The mean diameter is calculated: outside diameter - thickness.

So a cylinder that is 16 1/2" and 0.125 thick will have a mean diameter of 16 3/8".

The calculated length will be 16.375 X pi / 360 X 359.= 51.300.

When I create a flat pattern I want the length to match the calculated length and any holes or features around the cylinder to match a calculated distance.

Are you familiar with bend allowance calculations?

k-factor?

Are you using standard off-the-shelf sheet size, or will you be cutting the sheet size(s)?

" The mean diameter is calculated: outside diameter - thickness. "

This means that K=0.5
