Sheet Metal Thickness in Drawings

Hi everybody,

Is there a way to put the Thicness of Sheet Metal parts in drawings part lists automatically? using Inv 2008.

Yes, create a new material style using the "Style and Standard Editor..."
under "Format" on the main menu with an ipt open. Include in the material
description, the thickness. For example, call it CRS .06 (16ga).

Next edit your Sheet Metal styles to use newly created material, plug in
your k factor etc.

Now in your idw template, edit your parts list style to add a column for
"Material".

That should do it. See zip file for some screen shots, could not post
unzipped.

Very easy. If you create a new sheet metal part, then go to Tools >
Parameters, you will find a parameter already created. Check the export box
at the end of the line.

Then in Styles, create a parts list with the extra column.
