sheet metal offset

I made a panel with sheet metal.
I have two flange at a given offset.
Now I want the offset lower and equal to the underside of the flection.
I've done various settings in the Style Editor, but that does not go far enough.

You can make an extra sketch with a cut but that is an extra handling.

Any ideas?

Your drawings are only as good as the symbols that complete them...

Can you make the extra sketch and cut on the part, so we can see what you mean by lowering the offset?

Hi Jos,

If you really want to have this detail then you have to change your settings in your sheet metal defaults.

In the sheet metal rule, under tab bend, change the relief depth (B) to 0 (zero).

In your part you chose the wrong bend position, you have to change this to the third position (outside of base face extents)

I hope this will solve your problem.
