Sheet Metal- Flat Pattern Save Copy As

I have problem with Save As Command from Flat Pattern in Sheet Metal Mode.

I want to export to DWG file from Flat Pattern to send this layout to our Laser Machine database.

I'm using Inventor 2010 with Vault Manufacturing.

Thanks

Please describe your problem.

I would save as DXF or as Autocad DWG, in doing this it shuld work fine for you.

You have at least two options from ipt

1. Right click on the Flat Pattern browser node

2. Right click on the Flat Pattern face

(see attached)

I know how to do it. The problem is when I'm doing doesn't work?!

Also I can not check file into Volt.

Yesterday We've got some virus and since then that started to happened.

We cleaned up virus problem but obviously that scew up something with Inventor.

I uninstalled and installed back Inventor 2010 but the problem is still not fixed.

Try a clean uninstall http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=14893355&linkID=9242018

then run this http://majorgeeks.com/Windows_Installer_CleanUp_Utility_d4459.html

Make sure anti-virus (including TSR) and UAC are turned off while re-installing.

It could be that the thickness in the settings is different then your part is.

Before export you have to click on the side you want to have on top.

In new releases you can define the A-side.

3DS Max 2022
Win 10
