Shaft Generator Locknuts

Is terrible!

Would any  one know how I could go about creating a standard locknut thread, with the shaft generator (easy so far) BUT create a proper single rounded end keyway? It does the end of the locknut groove with the rad that exits the shaft, but in complete truth (and 15+ years of exper.) I have never seen this done in the real world. For the life of me I cannot get it to create a normal keyay and have this thread.

TIA!

If your not getting the results you want with the Shaft Generator, then your best option would be to use what you can or like from Shaft Gen and then modify it to better suite your needs.

Back in my design days, I used WH bearing nuts and washers a lot to the point where I incorporated their thread tables into the Inventor thread.xls and made iparts or ifeatures of them.
