Settings not being saved

Hi.

Everyday - when I first open an assembly -  I am asked if I want Inventor to update the assembly  and every day I tell it to never ask me again (see the attached jpg) .  For the rest of that session I will not be prompted - but the next time I start Inventor, I will see that message again.

Likewise, I need  to import my mapkeys every time I start Inventor because they are not loaded automatically - which may be related, or maybe not.  

(This is something that's been going on since 2012 - SP1)

Any ideas?
