'Set raster shading for offline files only

I posted a few days ago about my surprise in finding my printed drawings with large areas of solid black on them.

Fortunately I got a reply:
"Document settings - set raster shading for offline files only..."
which solved the problem.

But having changed the documents settings once I was surprised to have the same problem again today . . . and delved back ion the archive to find the solution a second time.

I had expected that the document setting change would have stuck. Do we have to keep remembering this workaround or will it be the IV11's first service pack?. The alternative is an upgrade for my own memory - the workaround area is getting crowded!

Ralph

(and how come that the spell checker always picks out IV11 as misspelt?)

You have to set it for each IDW document you open.

If you set it in your template all "future" drawings will be OK.

And 'hopefully' Autodesk address this issue in the next SP. So that we
arn't stung by this 'enhancment' in all previously made idw's.
