Select profile for sweep in section view

Hello All,

I am trying to perform a sweep of a profile and I am unable to select the profile. I have a part with a plane through the part. I created a profile on this plane that I want to sweep along my path. However whenever I try to select the profile I am unable to, even when I sectioned the part to the created plane. What's up?

Regards,

Mon

Hello

I've had this before where I wanted to sweep along a profile with lots of tangency joins.  Go back and make sure all of the profile sections are properly connected to one another.  Even though the profile looks like one continuous path, it sometimes isn't (i.e. it has gaps).  Try deleting half of the profile at a time and re-try the sweep to try and narrow down which bit of the profile that isn't happy, you can then home in on that section to see if something needs constraining.

Hope that helps.

Dave

Thanks Dave, but my problem was a projected loop in the profile. All fixed.
