I cannot select origin to constrain sketch with dimension to origin?
I selected Sketch,
expanded origin,
selected mywork plan (xy)
drew rectangle,
input dims,
right click for marking menu,
selected dimensions,
Origin is yellow,
cannot select it and then edge of rect to set dim that will center sketch on origin?
Just like the videos show, but cannot select origin>
Please advise?

Project Geometry
What version of Inventor are you using? This should be automatic.

Ver. 2013
Thanks for the input.
I went through the 60 tips.
I appreciate your response and the links to resources!

Ver. 2013 Inventor Lt Suite to be perfectly accurate.
Thanks.
P.S. Any other thoughts or suggestions will be immensely appreciated.
Jim
This is for a full version of Inventor 2013, but I imagine LT has a similar option somewhere.
You have replied to an ancient thread.
It would have been better to start a new thread and include Link to this thread.
Attach a *.ipt file here that exhibits this behavior.
and/or
create a Screencast recording of the behavior that you observe.

But it would be a
good thing to know how to replace the origin, even though I think that is
something that should never have to be replaced.
It is not possible to erase the Origin Center Point.
You deleted the Projection of the Origin Center Point.
To get back the Projection - see Post #2.
Project Geometry and select the Origin Center Point.
Any projected geometry can be erased.
There are times that I don't want the Origin projected (for example, in creating Sheet Metal Punches).
