SECTION LINES LOSE CONSTRAINTS

WHEN I EDIT AN EXISTING MODEL WHICH IS BASSICALLY A REVOLVED PROFILE THE CORRESPONDING SECTIONS ON MY IDW LOOSE THEIR CONSTRAINTS AND THUS REQUIRE RECREATION. IT REAALY EATS UP MY DRAFTING TIME.

When editing, are you deleting entities and adding them back in or
modifying the existing entities? If you are deleting and adding new
entities to the revolve sketch, that is why the cutting plane lines in
the IDW loose their constraints and the sections must be recreated. If
possible, when you edit try just modifying the existing entities, that
should allow constraints to be retained and the views to just update.
