Scale not correct Autocad To Inventor

I am working bewteen autodesk inventor 2012 and AutoCad Mechanical 2012

The Items I am importing from Mechanical 2012 are not importing to scale even though they are modeled in a 1 to 1 inch ratio.

any ideas how to fix this?

If you type -dwgunits in AutoCAD (Mechanical) what does it say?

What template are you using in Inventor?

Can you attach a dwg and the ipt that exhibits this behavior?

So I got it figured out. The files in Mechanical where from two seperate suppliers.

One created in MM one created in INCH but when imported everything was scaled fine in mechanical.

How ever upon export to Inventor as a step file the MM instead of converting to Inch turned into 1mm=1 inch

To correct this in the export the options I exported one as inches and repeated the step and exported it again as MM

and just reassembled in inventor to fix the issues.

Thanks for the replys
