Scale detail cross-section hatching in drawing

Is it possible to scale the cross-hatching in a detail that was created from a section view so it looks better with the scale of a detail? If the scale factor of a detail is much larger than its parent, the cross-hatching is very sparse and detracts from clarity rather than adding to it.

Not sure if I quite understand what you are asking, but you can RC on the hatching and select "Edit"

Then adjust the patterning here.  HATCH1.JPG

If this is not what you are talking about can you please provide an image that explains it?

Is there any Automatic way to change Hatch scale.  So if normal section view is 1:10 and if I make

detail view 1:1 then normaly Hatch scale is 1.0 but is shold be 0.1

Hi DRoam,

Just like to chime in. I would also like the hatch scale to be auto adjust to original scale.

I always right click edit scale

Original Section A-A hatch scale 1.0

Enlarged Detail B hatch scale 0.5 (to keep hatch scale continuity on drawing)

Maybe a request at the ideas section ??? - I would give a thumbs up Smiley Very Happy
