Saving Preferences

My (limited) AutoCAD experience includes being able to save a whole list of preferences in a drawing template so that I would have them all set for my next drawing.  Rather like a Template (style sheet) in MS Word.  I'd like to be able to avoid reselecting Project Standards (ANSI-mm), drawing area colour, 2-D sketch line colour, style, weight (including Construction Lines),  and 3-D model colour, visual style etc. every time I start a project.  When it comes to drawings settings for drawing standard, dimension units and style, and scale might be saved similarly.  If it is not asking too much, I'd like these to get updated (optionally) when I close.

I can't find tutorial material about this.  Does anyone know of any?

Hi!

You can find one tutorial in the inventor's tutorial.

Check the "Edit Styles" Inventor Tutorial.

You can download the Inventor Tutorials here:
