Saving of assembly model

I am facing problem in saving of my assembly model which is 185 MB size , it gives error message application error after 20 minutes.I am really stuck up.
we ahve checked up the Memory capacity in C drive it is 2.2 Free space.we are saving the model on network drive where more than 100 GB.

I don't no much about networks etc, but have you
thought about compacting the assembly to reduce its size. Assuming you have not
already done that, If you don't want to do that in fear of losing some data,
copy the assembly and do a trial run.

Thanks for reply,
i solved the problem, there was a problem with constraining.
there is error with subassembly and error reflect in main assembly so that at certain level procecing of main assy stop because of error.
so i think that we have to be carefull about constrain error.
