Save problem

Hi

I have a problem with some files when saving. The problem is that the file never is satified by save. I can save the part endlessly and it always accepts new save. We get these files as dirty everytime we check them out of Vault. And it is a little frustrating.

I have deleted almost all properties, I have updated and purged, etc. But nothing helps...! I have many similar files without problems, and I cannot seem to find out where the problem is...

Hope someone can help me to find out where the problem is.

We use Inventor and Vault pro 2013

Best regards

TG

First thing I would try is to Expand the 3rd Party node in the browser and right click Delete the translation report.

Problem solved. Showed to be small errors in the part.

I needed to edit the solid and delete the surfaces creating the error

Good catch.

It seemed to me like the size of the file was way too large for simple geometry like this.

I was tempted to remodel from scratch just to see how big a "normal" (featured rather than base) solid file would be to confirm or reject my expectation for file size.

In the past I have found that file size is a good indication of the robustness of the geometry.
