Hi,
I imported an AutoCAD border into Inventor and tried to save it as a template.
When I open the template to start a new drawing, the imported sketch disappears.
How do I save the attached file as a template and retain the border when I use the template to create a new drawing?
Derek.

Derek,
When you save your imported Autocad drawing into Inventor, are you saving it as an Inventor .idw or an Inventor .dwg?
Either one of those should give you what you are looking for. But with that said, what ever is missing in your imported Autocad template, you are going to have to recreate on the Inventor side of things. Things as you are seeing sometimes get lost in the crossover. Here is a thread that is similar to what you are experiencing.

Lastly, once you have your Inventor drawing template looking the way you want it, just place it in your templates folder with all of the others you have so when you start a new drawing it will show up in the selection dialog.

I found it was much easier just to recreate my company titleblock in Inventor from scratch rather than monkey around with an autocad import.
