Save idw as dwg : ellips error

Hello,

When I "save copy as" dwg an IDw, I have an error with some ellips.

from IV 2013 to Autocad Mechanical.

Is it solve with IV 2014?

Thanks.

Same thing happened to me today going from Inventor Pro 2014 exporting to Autocad dwg ( saving as 2013 format) and opening in AutoCAD 2014 in Product Design Suite.

I'd like to know the answer too! Moving the points on the ellipses in AutoCAD only makes it worse.

Same problem here. Inventor 2014 Pro to ACAD 2013 file format.

We had this mentioned issues also, but we already set REPLACE_SPLINES= YES several weeks ago. This solved the issue mentioned in http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Inventor-General/Inventor-2013-DE-BUG-Export-IDW-to-AutoCAD-DWG-Lines-... but not the occuring ellipses.

I just tried it here, and the issue disappeared, with side views of a parabola, as are existing on the nuts.

But

^_^clovis^_^ had placed the left bolted connection slightly rotated around it's axis; thus the error showed up only there. I'll try to build this situation, too, with the new INI file.

Hello,

As mentioned in the other conversation, I've modified the ini file. But the result remains the same with those ... things with bolts sightly rotated.

The same situation occurs when I use a .dwg (inventor) instead of .idw

Anyways, I hope to find time to update to INV 2014. I hope it'll help.

Thanks
