Save copy as PDF doesn't work on network location

I cant't save copy as PDF when I point to a nework location, It's working when I save directly on my computer.

I get a message saying : "Failed to publish DWF file." (makes no sense !)

Any idea ?

Do you have the proper network permissions to write to this directory?

Hello, and BUMP!!!!

I just ran into this same exact problem with a co-worker.

Untitled.pngUntitled2.png

Export to PDF, trying to save the PDF on a network drive = fail.

This co-worker is:

* An admin, with full admin rights.

* A member of a network group, and this network group has full control (read/wright)

* He can open/save any file on the network.

Exporting to PDF does work if I was to select the network drive by surfing the network PC's (using the back door) instead of selecting the mapped network drives.  EXAMPLE: (Network >NetPC04>Work Folder    vs. mapped drive-  \\NetPC04\Work Folder )

If I was to log into this PC, it works for me using the mapped network drives, so It will be hard to blame inventor. (and I've stumped my IT department with this lol)

Any thoughts?

Check that your translators are loaded.

In the drawing, open the TOOLS ribbon, click Add-Ins, then Translators. Look for DWF and PDF.

Translater: DWG and PDF were set to "Automatic / On Demand" so I changed them to "Loaded"

Still didn't work. Good try though.

^^^^

"DWF" not "DWG"
