Save as... perspective view IDW to DWG?

Has anybody tried saving an IDW with a perspective view as DWG format. I
just tried it, paper space only. The result looks a lot like the milky way.
A big jumble of 3D polylines, and lines, shooting off in every direction.
The only part that exported properly was the drawing border. I tried it
both as ACAD 2000 .DWG, and as R12 .DXF, with the same result. Should I be
able to do this?

Heard this reported a couple of times. Have never heard if it is planned to be fixed or
???

Yep, it doesn't work! I just placed 5 views on an IDW, of which only one
was a perspective. Four out of five translated correctly to DWG. The other
was pretty wild looking. .DWG compatability? Thought that was one of the
features Adesk prided themselves on. Hope it is possible some day.
