Save as Jpeg

Can Inventor R6 save as Jpeg image or is it only BMP??

Yes BMP only, and besides that JPEG is the absolutely worst graphic format for computergraphics
and pictures because of lossyness and poor compression for this kind of graphics.
JPEG is only for realworld photos and is pretty good for that.

Instead Autodesk should consider inplementing PNG (Portable Network Graphics) with 24bit, 8bit,
and 4bit color palettes. PNG is the best format for computergraphics and it is free.

I agree about PNG but a lot of printing industry uses EPS or AI and that would be good to use when making handbooks for products.

yes you can save to jpeg...with a little help from charles bliss...go to
http://www.cbliss.com/inventor/iCode/index.htm and look for "save to jpeg".
i use it all the time. works great.
