I have a whole assembly in sat format.
I would like to save these as IV ipt. I want them to be saved in my template ipt. so I can use materials, colors,
etc. that i have set up. Why when saved does it seem like a blank ipt.Am I doing it correctly? Help appreciated.
You would like to use an Inventor template you have
created to be the template document for all the sat file imports? When you
select which file to open(*.sat *.stp blah de blah, the options button will now
become available to you, one of the things you can specify in here is which
template you would like to use.
