Then they put round of value in dimension style
not in 2011
In Autocad is in for 10 years but not in inventor
i want too round of to 0.5
soo 10.24 go too 10
soo 10.25 go too 10.5
and 10.75 goo too 11
this options can not be so hard
too do in drawing dimension
i create many dimension thats express in this way

Hi! I assume the dimension style you are referring to is in Drawing, right? On R2011, you can set the default dimension style to Fractional and make precision to 1/2. It should do exactly what you want.
Let me know if it works for you.
Thanks!
Yes is in drawing mode
Thank for you reply
but this options works only when you use inch not mm
so i wnat smaller round options
my dimension area is 0,5 not 1 mm
i create big industri building with parameter
there bult hole create automatic
many time is hits like dimension 1000.32 then i want it too round too 1000.5 in the drawing not 1000.0
if it hits 1000.24 i want it too do 1000
this options works in Autocad dimension not Inventor dimension
next realese i hope it works
is there any web site for wishlist
I for one vote against this option. In the past I used to get burned by this option in AutoCAD when people would use this as a shortcut to designing precisely. My question would be, if you want 1000.5 why would you have drawn it to be 1000.32?
I not create dimesion 100.32
my model doo
Picture 1000-000100
i put in dimension
Picture 1000-000105 create the dimension automatic
for hole and then they build they have not 0.1 mm mesure only 0.5 mm
I suppose that in your industry a round off option is a legitimate tool. But I would hope for an option to block users from using it as a shortcut in more precise mechanical applications. You can imagine the problems a round off might create when parts are created via CNC. Such a setting could create very costly mistakes, very easily.
Yes its right
I know i not the fan off round off options too
my princip is too create dimension thats exactly
but if i use only zero decimal
its round off either 100.49 too 100
100,51 and 101
but if they build this in cold -20 celsius
they need only 0,5 tolerans too geet it right
