Is there a way to rotate text for engraving. The rotate command in sketch tools won't allow me to select the text to rotate it. The text aways comes in along the x axis.
grab a corner, and rotate, then add a angle dim from a edge to something else.

Try adding an angled construction line, use a
ground constraint or dim to lock it down then add a
collinear/parallel/whatever constraint and the text should
comply.
