I want to create a chain that is not in the list of available chains. I want to use 81X on a conveyor and use the Roller Chains Generator for this application. I have been able to do it with the 2080 double pitch chain and tryed to modify the 2080 parameters, but it will not modify the sprockets. How do you create a custom chain and sprocket, or find 81X chain for download? Is there a table that could be modified with 81X parameters?
To my knowledge there is not a way to edit the Design Accelerator information as it is obtained from standards. There is not a way to add your own or edit a table of these values. Consider adding this request in the IDEAS forum for a future release of Inventor to be added to.
