Roller Chains Generator - Tension

I am working on a roller chain design.  It is a long run and I am concerned about chain tension.  In the "Roller Chains Generator", there is no place to enter any factor for chain tension. The higher the chain tension, the more horsepower it takes to drive the chain.  How do I account for that in this generator?

Thanks

You right and there is not a voice that keep directly this in account.

More tension> more friction> need more power  and more efficiency

Quite delicate situation. You can touch it in the efficiency or in the lubrification  or consider just the worse case.

You might be able to get information from the chain idler/tensioner manufactures. I can see a number of questions with respect to distance and orientation of the chain having an affect as well.
