From the literature, it looks like it should be as simple as selecting a part in the assmbly browser and dragging it to a new position, but when I select on a part and try to drag, it just shows me a symbol (circle with a slash through).
I have tried in several assemblies, making sure I am only trying to move parts around other parts, not into areas of the assmbly browser tree that would not be allowed.
Is this not even possible, or am I doing something wrong?

That is a feature that was removed in release 6 to accommodate assembly
features.
Many of us have pointed out how much we miss this ability and we're
living in hope that it will be reintroduced in the NEAR future.
