Rendering

Im trying to render a model and have it scaled properly to an image i inserted as a background. but when i go and render it, it doesnt use that background or if i select "current background" the scale isnt correct. is there a way to render an image with out adding another background?

Have you tried using the background image in an Inventor Studio Scene style?

Alternatively, if you are using 2011, you could have the background visible, then zoom the model to "fit" the background and use perspective view to get the right look, then output that as an image - skipping rendering altogether. Much depends on how "real" the image needs to be.

What version of software are you using?
