Render JT files

Hello everybody,

I opened a .JT files without issues, it shows the model as it suppose to do and also without erros.

When I try render it, it dissapears.

The same happens when exporting to STEP.

And it is also not possible to make a section view.

I have the feeling that is has to do with the fact that JT files are use for visualisation. Something with nodes?

Is there a way to convert the JT file that it acts as a normal Inventor file?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Maarten

No, I can only get it in .JT.

Maarten,

See if you can get a JT file which includes the BREP info - you likely only have JT that contains the tesselated/mesh data.

They will likely need to export the JT file again.

Thanks,
Chris
