remove inventor 2013 on windows 8.1

Hello,

Using the "unistall or change a program" from Windows,

I'd like to remove Inventor 2013 from my PC with Windows 8.1 on it. But I don't get the option to remove it.

I get a : this program has compatibility issues. the 2 options with it are

- get help online

- run the program without getting help (which doesn't really help).

Thanks for any idea

Yours

I believe 2013 also has an uninstall tool of itself.
In windows 7 i'd tell you to look in the start menu, but i'm not familiar enough with windows 8 to tell you the location there...

Thanks,

I used the 2nd option. I hope that my PC is clean now. I'm planning to upgrade to Inventor 2014 but it seems that it's a must to remove 2013 first.

Might be good to check here:

I don't believe it's a must to remove 2013 though, but if you want a clean system then that page will give some more information.

Install all SP's and Updates for IV2014 as well. Links for the "Update" page are at the bottom of the pages on this user forum: "Service Packs & updates".

Inventor 2020, In-Cad, Simulation Mechanical

Just insert the picture rather than attaching it as a file
