Refresh from content centre

Hi all,
is there way to simple refresh components such as steel sections from CC in assembly? I have assembly with steel sections included from my own CC library. Now I have modified this library, but I cannot find way to update these used parts.

Hi,
If these parts in the assembly are placed from CC, you can use the Replace
from Conten Center command to replace them with the new components in the
modified library. you can get the command on the menu context when
right-click the part you want to update.

thanks,
Henry

Hi Henry,
right now we aren't supporting refresh standard components for custom parts like steel shapes. You need to call "Replace from CC" to each placed steel shape part - if you need to be sure that all chnages are applied.

Hi Roman,
thanks for reply. I am not very lucky about it. Really, there is no way to do something as this in VBA: right click on component-> Change size->OK (without change size) ? This mean that component attributes are updated without any other changes (constraints, file..).

Hi Petr,
I'm sorry. Right now Content Center does not provide pubic API so the VBA macro would not be helpful. We know about this pain and we are working one the providing some kind of support for custom parts.
Thank you again for your report.

Regards
Roman
