Sounds like you have duplicated a library path, do a screen shot of window
and post to CF, you will then get a more accurate and expert solution.

You have nested library paths...

e.g.
path1=c:\parts
path2=c:\parts\mechanical
path3=c:parts\electrical

Sean, found an answer on this yet? In 5.3 once I decided to split files
into folders ( just too many of em ) and drag them around to neaten up the
tree so I could find the file I wanted, my idw's could not find the files,
all in same project of course. So I added paths to the folders so idw's
would solve.
Once migrated to 6.0 I just deleted the nested paths to work groups in red,
all seems to function ok. What do you recon? ta.
In 5.3 if you made folders in context of IAM's it would solve with one path
to your directory of folders and files.

It should work fine if you delete the path callout to the sub folders.
Really what IV is telling you is that these are nested paths and that they
are being referred to anyway. The project white paper explains it pretty
well. The reason I like having them is that they provide a quick way to
navigate between folders by clicking on the name in the left hand pane.

Neil and Charles pointed out some pitfalls in the support group a while back
but my opinion was that any project file can cause problems if you move
files around without thinking about their impact. If you are careful and
think things through you shouldn't have problems with keeping the nested
paths (at least in workspaces, libraries might be a different story and I
haven't thought that process through yet.) At least no one has given me a
valid argument as to why you SHOULD not have nester paths in your
workspace...
